Mechanical Assembly Tech/Machinist
Abacus is seeking a motivated worker w/mechanical aptitude to assemble custom/specialty machines and equipment. Technician will prove in machines, and diagnose problems using logic and mechanical ability. Candidate must be able to read blue prints/working drawings. Have use and knowledge of lathe, milling machines, grinder, drill press, etc. This position requires some travel.
Machine Control Programmer
Abacus is seeking a motivated worker to create machine programs for any or all of the following; PLC, HMI, PC, robots, servos and vision systems. Candidate must have Associates Degree or 2 years experience. This position requires some travel.
Sales Manager Abacus is seeking a motivated worker with engineering aptitude to quote custom machines and equipment. The Sales manager will research and prepare quote documents, create budget sheets, and build conceptual machine layout sketches. We prefer candidates who have at least 3 years’ experience in sales and secondary education in Engineering along with experience with custom automation equipment. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Solid Edge, or Solid Works. This is an onsite position. The position requires some travel.
